CE reviews situation at LoC

RAWALPINDI: Chief Executive General Pervez Musharraf on Thursday attended a briefing at the corps headquarters where he was briefed on the operational preparedness of the troops deployed along the line of control and working boundary.

Senior militry officers were present during the briefing during which the recent spate of ceasefire violations by the Indians along the LoC and working boundary were discussed.

The participants were of the view that the recent violations seemed to be part of a deliberate effort by the Indians to increase tensions in the area.ÑAPP
