300 MCB branches to be computerised

SHEIKHUPURA: The Executive Director, Muslim Commercial Bank, Haroon Bashir Sheikh, has said that 300 more branches of MCB will be computerised and connected with the globe through on line system soon.

Addressing a prize distribution ceremony of Maala-Maal scheme at the Services Club here on Thursday, he said that MCB is preparing a plan to provide loans to the tune of Rs 15 billion to small account holders.

Bashir Sheikh directed the Sheikhupura Zonal chief, Muhammad Tariq Mirza to simplify procedure for provision of loans to local trader and industrialists so that it can help to improve the economic condition of the country.

Later, the MCB executive director, former Chief Justice of Pakistan Nasim Hassan Shah and the zonal chief gave away Rs 2 million, 100 tolas gold and key of Honda Civic car to lucky winners of 'Maala-Maal Scheme' Mohammad Asghar.

Rao Sajid Ali Khan and renowned singer Abrarul Haq were also present on the occasion. APP
