Jurisdiction of Central Excise Karachi East & West notified

ISLAMABAD: The Central Board of Revenue has notified new jurisdictions of Collector of Central Excise, Karachi East and West with effect from February 1, 2000.
According to a SRO No.35 (I)/2000 issued on Monday, the areas under the jurisdiction of Collector of Central Excise, Karachi (East) are: Areas of civil division of Karachi falling on left side of Shahrah-i-Pakistan upon its entrance into the jurisdiction of Karachi Civil Division passing Sohrab Goth, Federal-B Area, crossing over the local railway track at Karimabad and entering Liaquatabad up on Tin Hatti Bridge, Jahangir Road, from Tin Hatti roundabout up to Guru Mandar passing through the Civil Area named as Jahangir Quarters, from Guru Mandar roundabout MA Jinnah Road, straight up to Meryweather Tower crossing to the Kiamari through Netti Jetty Bridge and up to the Passenger Pier where the MA Jinnah Road ends.
