HRCP flays children's smuggling for camel race
QUETTA: The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (Balochistan chapter) has strongly condemned smuggling of children to Arab states for camel race.
The issue of increase abduction of children in Balochistan, especially in Quetta, has been going on for a long time. In the past, too, human rights organisations have been describing it as an inhuman act.
A meeting of the provincial branch of HRCP held here, has expressed deep concern over the issue.
It also expressed concern over the overall law and order situation in the province. The meeting also resented the recent assassination of the senior judge of the Balochistan High Court Justice Nawaz Marri. According to the commission, most of the 91 persons arrested after this incident are people working on daily wages.-PPI
