Drive against small defaulters from 3rd

MULAN: Agricultural Development Bank (ADBP) Industrial Development Bank (IDBP) Small Business Finance Corporation (SBFC) House Building Finance Corporation, Cooperative Bank, PTCL, Wapda, have finalised arrangements to arrest the defaulters of up to Rs 5 lakh from Feb 3 (Thursday).

Official sources said that the Chief Executive had granted relaxation to the defaulters of up to Rs 5 lakh for three months to clear their dues.

More than 80 percent defaulters did not avail this relaxation and they did not repay their loan, utility bills during this period.

More than three dozens recovery thams headed by recovery tehsildars and naib tehsildars have been constitute to apprehend them. Besides confiscation of their produce attachment of property.

However, kharif loans would not be recovered from cotton growers this year.
