Doctors advised to keep abreast with new research in medicine
KARACHI: The death ratio can be curtailed by controlling diseases like Malaria, small pox and polio with the aim to eliminate them from the country, said the Health Minister while addressing a gathering of Medical practitioner' Karachi Chair here on Monday.
Talking on "the role of Medical practitioners in new century" he asked the doctors to polish their skills according to new diseases and ever-emerging challenges.
He said medical practitioners must have an up-to-date knowledge about latest progress in the field of medicine.
The minister said doctors must prove their honesty with the patients so that they can consider them as their close counsel.
He said that it is moral and professional duty of the doctors to advise preventive measures to their patients about the diseases.-PPI
