Chemists ask dealers not to buy multi-dose injection vial
Recorder Report
Lahore: Pakistan Chemists Retailers Association (PCRA) has directed all the chemists to stop purchasing multi-dose injection vial from the pharmaceutical companies, in compliance with the high court verdict.
The PCRA also directed the chemists to return their existing stocks of the multi-doze injection vial and deduct the prices of the returned stocks from the next supply bills, says a press release issued here on Monday.
The association demanded of the federal government and the Punjab Health Department to intervene in the matter and force the local as well as foreign pharmaceutical companies to buy back the stocks available with the chemists.
The PCRA also urged the government to fix a deadline for the return of the said injection vial and announce the final decision in this regard. It also called upon the government to restrain pharmaceutical companies from selling their stocks.
The Association expressed appreciation for the high court decision and said that it would help in reduction of complicated viral diseases.
