Press rhetoric deplored

KARACHI: S M Rafi, President, Income Tax Employees Association, has expressed his deep concern over the indecent and impolite language used in a section of the press against the departmental officers and their personal life, a press release said on Monday.

He has appealed to the government to take immediate notice of this situation and urged upon the press to verify facts before printing any report.

Rafi said false accusations had shattered the faith of the tax functionaries. The loss could be made up, provided we started respecting the rights of the individual.
