arranges walk

for special

children

KARACHI: A walk has been arranged to promote greater awareness about special children suffering from mental and physical disorders.

The walk take place on April 8 at 9.30 a.m. from the Quaid's Mazar and end at the Darul Sukun Institute on Kashmir Road.

The walk is being led by famous artist and social worker Jimmy Engineer and Svein I Moldskred, General Manager, Carlton Hotel; who have sponsored the walk and also arranged a musical programme, lunch for all the children at Darul Sukun.

Presently, there are 150 children and adults between the age of two years to 40 years.

Jimmy Engineer's mission is to create greater awareness about the suffering humanity.

These special children who are mentally and physically handicapped will come on wheel chairs. There will be about 50 patients during the walk.

According to Jimmy Engineer, it is a matter of great concern that these suffering children and adult have to come of the roads to address their grievances.ÑPR
