AJK president
condemns killing
of Kashmiris at
Annantnag
MUZAFFARABAD: AJK President Sardar Mohammad Ibrahim Khan has strongly condemned the arrests of leaders of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) and indiscriminate killing of innocent Kashmiris at Annantnag by Indian forces.
Talking to various delegations here on Tuesday at the Aiwan-e-Sadr AJK president said India cannot succeed in crushing freedom movement of Kashmiris by use of brutal force. World community should take note of massive arrests of Kashmiri leaders and killings of innocent Kashmiris at the hands of Indian troops, he demanded.
Citing to the massive arrests of acting chairman of APHC Mir Waiz Umer Farooq, chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Party Shabbir Ahmad Shah and killing of innocent Kashmiris, he said such brutalities and coward acts cannot keep the Kashmiris from their destination of liberation.
He said India is pursuing the policy of perpetuating its illegal occupation on Occupied Kashmir by dint of its brute force but it will have to quit it in state of sheer humiliation. Kashmiris are fighting tooth and nail with Indian forces and this war will continue till their freedom movements meets success, he added.
He said India wants to pit Muslims against Sikhs to weaken the freedom movement of Kashmiris. This is the reason India has tried to shift responsibility of killings of 35 Sikhs on the shoulders of Muslims, although Indian forces themselves have committed this crime of killing of Sikhs, he added.
He said India is subjecting the detained leaders of APHC to inhuman treatment and is out to exterminate them under a well-conceived plan. Supply of unhygienic food and ill-health of Kashmiri leaders have threatened their life in jail, he added.
He called upon the world community and civilised world to take note of gross violation of human rights in Occupied Kashmir and pressurise India to set free the detained APHC leaders.ÑPPI
