Kidnapped boy not recovered yet

FAISALABAD: Waqas Maqbool, a 7th year old boy of Dhudiwala, who was abducted by unknown kidnappers for ransom, a few days before, could not be recovered till Monday by the police.

The kidnappers had demanded a ransome of rupees one million from Maqbool Ahmad, father of the abductee, on phone who could not arrange this huge amount on last Sunday the abductors again rang up Maqbool Ahmad and asked him to put one lakh rupees in a shopper at a specific place if, he wanted the return of his son Waqas Maqbool.

He had accordingly put the amount at specified place, which the kidnappers tookaway but did not return back the boy.

Consequently, Maqbool Ahmad reported the matter to police officials. The DIG and SSP have ordered the police to immediately recover Waqas Maqbool and apprehend the culprits.

It is worth mentioning that some kidnappers had some days before abducted another kid Waqas Ahmad from local Nisar Colony for ransom of Rs 5 lakh, who was later killed by the abductors and his dead body was buried in a house. The Police after arresting one of the accused had recovered dead body of the boy.
