IMF team to meet Jamote today

ISLAMABAD: The visiting delegation of IMF will hold talks on agriculture subsidies and support prices with the Minister of Food and Agriculture, Shafqat Ali Shah Jamote, here on April 4.

Official sources said that the delegation is likely to stress for the withdrawal of government subsidies especially on wheat and the support prices to the commodities.

The ministry is gradually doing away with support prices and subsidy on the advice of donors.
