48 Bhukkar areas declared sensitive
BHUKKAR: District administration here as declared 48 areas of district Bhukkar as sensitive during the month of Muharram.
The administration has placed 27 areas of the district in 'A category and 12 areas in category 'B' while 9 areas of the district have been kept in category 'C' to keep peace during Muharram.
District Magistrate Chaudhry Ghulam Sarwar has put ban on the entry of 26 Ulema in the district to maintain law and order situation in the district. Names of the Ulema are: Abdul Sattar (D.G. Khan), Abdul Ghafoor (D. G. Khan), Manzoor Ahmed Chinioti (Jhang), Mohammad Luqman Ali Poor (Muzaffargarh), Mazhar Husain (Chakwal), Ata-ul-Hasan Bukhari (Multan), Ghulam Mustafa Shah (Lahore), Syed Ahmed (Multan) Mohammad Ahmed Ludhwani, Shadat Ali Tahir (Jhang), Sultan Mahmood Zia (Multan), Abdul Ghafoor Haqqani (Shujaabad), Ali Shair Haideri (Khairpur), Maulana Mohammad Azam Tariq (Jhang), Saeed Ahmed Kabeerwala (Khanewal), Kifayat Hussain Naqvi (Multan), Asmat Ullah Kabeerwala (Khanewal), Ahmed Saeed (Khanewal), Mohammad Faizal Alvi (Jhang), Shamim-us-Sibtain (Mianwali), Mohammad Hussain Dhako (Sargodha), Ejaz Hussain (Khushab), Sharif Hussain (D. I. Khan), Munawar Abbas Alvi (Lahore), and Mehar Fayyaz Ahmed (Jhang).
Punjab government has informed all the deputy commissioners of the province that military troops and Punjab Constabulary can also be called, if needed, to keep the peace during Muharram.ÑPPI
