KARACHI: M/s Aurum representing five leading Pakistani exporters of jewellery, namely, Karat Jewellers, Chottani Jewellers, Ruby Jewellers, Al Rahim Jewellers and A.K. Motiwala Jewellers, will participate in the world famous jewellery exhibition 'Virtuosi' from June 9 in Italy under the sponsorship of World Gold Council.

According to a press release issued by EPB, 23 countries from all over the world will participate in the exhibition and over 100 designs would be placed on display. Six designs of M/s Aurum have been selected by the World Gold Council for the first time for display in the intertnational gold show. These jewelleries have been designed by the students of Art School of Pakistan.

Minister of State and EPB Chairman Tariq Ikram appreciated the initiative of M/s Aurum and said that we must now encourage the export of non-traditional items which has tremendous scope in the world market. He said that the other manufacturers of jewellery should try innovation and improvement to compete in the export market.
