Five killed

in tribal clash

LARKANA: Five persons were killed in an attack allegedly by gunmen of rival group near village Mubarak Mirbahar in the jurisdiction of Taluka Police Station Larkana on Saturday.

According to police report, the incident took place due to an old dispute over land between two groups of Lashari tribe.

On Saturday some gunmen opened indiscriminate firing on tractor trolley carrying people of their rival group, as a result five persons namely Ghulam Muhammad Lashari, Gulbahar Lashari, Ahmed Ali Lashari, Muhammad Jumnan Lashari and Dilshah Lashari were killed on the spot while one Ghulam Hussain injured seriously, who was shifted to Chandka Medical College (CMC) Hospital, Larkana.

The DIG Police, Larkana, Muhammad Bachal Sangri, Deputy Commissioner, Larkana, Muhammad Arif Khan, SSP Larkana Dr Amir Ali Shaikh and other officials rushed to the spot and police parties were despatched to arrest the attackers, who had made their good escape.

Taluka Police Larkana have registered a case against Maevoo Lashari and 10 others.ÑAPP
