Ecevit urges Pakistan, India to hold talks on Kashmir
ISLAMABAD: Turkish Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit on Saturday urged India and Pakistan to renew their efforts to resolve occupied Kashmir dispute through dialogue, PTV reports.
Addressing a press conference here during his four-day visit to India, Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit said that Pakistan wanted India to resolve all issues including occupied Kashmir through negotiations.
He expressed the hope that India would also agreed to hold meaningful dialogue to find a peaceful solution of the longstanding issue.
The Turkish premier said the people of South Asia desired a just and amicable resolution of the dispute. APP
