Comstac HQ foundation laying today

ISLAMABAD: President Rafiq Tarar will lay the foundation stone of the Comstac headquarter building on Tuesday.

The Commission for Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South was set up in 1991 as an international and inter-governmental organisation for promoting cooperation among the developing countries in science and technology.

Twenty-one developing countries are members of the organisation. The government of Pakistan has contributed Rs 25 million for the building which will have six floors.

M/s National Construction has been awarded the contract with two years completion period.
