One killed, three injured in road mishap

HYDERABAD: A driver of Edhi Centre, Hyderabad, has lost his life, while three other volunteers including a doctor received injuries when their ambulance collided with a truck on Super Highway near old Toll Plaza on Saturday.

According to Edhi Centre sources, driver Qaiser, Dr Zafar Iqbal and two other volunteers Qamar Iqbal and Muhsin Khan were going to Edhi Hospital Gulshan-e-Shahbaz in an ambulance No-0496.

When their ambulance reached near old Toll Plaza, it collided with a Truck No JT-5045, coming from opposite direction.

As a result, driver Qaiser has lost his life, while three others were injured. The injured were rushed to LMC Hospital Jamshoro, where the condition of Dr Zafar Iqbal is reported serious. APP
