Four shot dead in F'abad

FAISALABAD: Some unidentified armed persons shot four persons dead in Muridwala, in a nearby village of Samundri (Faisalabad). The victim include Hakeem Ghulam Ahmad, his wife, Shahida and a young Daughter, Zahida and one Noor Hussain. The motive behind the murders is yet to be ascertained.

According to reports received here on Saturday, Hakeem Ghulam Ahmad was a physician and hundreds of patients from various parts of Punjab used to visit him for medical assistance. A few days earlier, the unknown assassins entered into house of Hakeem Ghulam Ahmad and shot him dead along with his family members.

When the Hakeem did not came out from his house for the last many days, the neighbours suspecting foul play, informed the police and broke open the doors of the house and brought out the dead bodies from the house.

Police have registered a case and started investigation. No trace of the culprits has been made yet.
