CTA meeting tomorrow

FAISALABAD: An emergent meeting of the Council of Textile Association (CTA) will be held at Kashif Centre, Karachi on Wednesday, to discuss the alarming crisis in cotton yarn prices and its non-availability.

According to a source of the CTA, the indiscriminate export of cotton yarn on low prices has crippled the value added textile industry. The meeting will also discuss the rate of Europeon currencies, which have made the exports totally incompetitive in Europe.
