Bolan Bank offers 2pc cut rate to traders

ISLAMABAD: The chief of Bolan Bank has offered two percent cut in its lending rates to the business community and has also ensured loan facility within three days to the members of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Bolan Bank chief executive, Syed Ijaz Hussain made this offer in a meeting with the RCCI members on Monday. He said that his bank was ready to provide loans to RCCI members at 16 percent mark-up, against existing 18 percent, and the Chamber members who have feasible projects should approach the bank immediately.

He told the RCCI members that the bank has established its branches in less developed areas to provide credit facility to middle and lower middle classes.

He said that online service is under way and business community should avail this service.

Earlier, RCCI President SM Naseem welcomed the Bolan Bank head and said the banking business is the lifeline of economy. He said the banks should play their role in the promotion of economy of the country.
