ISLAMABAD: The Azerbaijan government and people fully support the Kashmiri's liberation struggle and uphold Pakistan's principled stand on the Kashmir issue.

This was stated by four-member media delegation of Azerbaijan during their visit to the office of the Kashmir Media Service.

The members of the delegation said that the people of Azerbaijan, particularly the intellectual were gravely concerned about the plight of the Kashmiri people. They wanted the Kashmir issue to be settled peacefully.

Briefing the delegation, the Chief-Editor of KMS, Shiekh Tajammul Islam said, the Kashmir issue was the result of the Indian intransigence. The persecution of the Kashmiri people exposed the arrogant and imperialistic mindest of the Indian rulers. He said, the Indian brutality on the struggling Kashmiris was not properly and adequately reflected in international print and electronic media. The Kashmir issue was a human problem and the Muslim world should unitedly work for its just and acceptable solution.

The delegation was led by the Chief of the Azernews, Fazil F. Abbasov and also included a leading personality of the Azerbaijan Radio and Television, Etibar Mammadov.ÑAPP
