PEC body inspects various institutions

KARACHI: A 13-member accreditation committee of Pakistan Engineering Council headed by Engr. Farhat Adil, convenor of the committee conducted the inspection of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology and the Institute of Industrial and Electronics Engineering, Karachi, during this week.

During the visit of these engineering education institutions the PEC committee reviewed the engineering academic programme, faculty standard library and laboratories facilities, admission policy and examination procedure. The committee will submit its reports for the consideration of central executive committee of the PEC.

Those who were included in the PEC inspection committee include Dr. Wahid Bux Soomro, Dr. Sohail Aftab Qureshi, Dr. A.R. Memon, Dr. Bhaiani Shankar Choudhry, Prof. Jawaid Aziz, Engr. Sohail Bashir, Engr. Anwar Qasim Qureshi and Engr. Rafatullah Khan.
