funds raise

ISLAMABAD: Overseas Pakistanis Affairs Minister Omar Asghar Khan on Sunday suspended the decision of the raise in the fees and funds of the OPF girls/boys colleges till the decision of the Board of Directors.

The minister who is also the chairman of the Board of Directors of OPF girls/boys colleges, agreed to the demands of the Parents Action Committee.

The committee presented the cases of their children regarding indiscriminate increase in the fees and contributions towards college funds.

The minister also pointed out that in future, representatives of parents will be included in the board.

The minister addressed around 300 parents and assured them that he would not only resolve the issue of the raise in fees and funds but would also take initiative to improve the overall education standard of the OPF girls/boys colleges.

The parents thanked the ministers for his consideration.ÑAPP
