Musharraf in Paris on way to Havana

ISLAMABAD: Earlier the Chief Executive, Islamabad on Sunday Havana for to lead, the Pakistan delegation at the first 'South Summit' of the Group of 77 and China.

The summit is to be held from April 12 to 14.

The summit is to be preceded by a meeting of foreign ministers on April 11 and a meeting of senior officials on April 10. Pakistan Foreign Minister Abdul Sattar is already in Cuba.

From Havana, the Chief Executive is scheduled to undertake an official visit of Egypt and Libya from April 15 to 19.

In Egypt, he is scheduled to hold talks with President Hosni Mubarak on bilateral relations, regional and international issues of mutual interest. He will also meet Egyptian Prime Minister Dr Atef Ebied. During his stay in Cairo, the Chief Executive will visit Arab League Headquarters and would exchange views with the Secretary General of the Arab League, Esmet Abdul Meguid.

In Tripoli on April 18 and 19, Musharraf will hold talks with Muammar Qaddafi on bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.
