for London

KARACHI: Advisor to Chief Executive on National Affairs, Information and Media Development Javed Jabbar left here on Sunday for London on a hectic four-city tour which would take him to London, Washington DC, Los Angeles and New York.

During the visit, Javed Jabbar will meet a number of leading think tanks besides, editors, and electronic media personalities, as well as parliamentarians and officials.

Talking to newsmen prior to his departure, the advisor said that during his visit and meetings he will be conveying the view point of the government on several issues that are subject of current comments on Pakistan by international media.

He said he will also meet prominent overseas Pakistanis and make a first hand assessment of measures required to improve the projection of Pakistan in Western Europe and north America.ÑAPP
