HBL to introduce latest tech to facilitate customers

FAISALABAD: The difficulties being confronted by the consumers for the payment of utility bills are being resolved on top priority basis while latest available technology of Auto Teller Machines (ATM) will also be used to facilitate its consumers.

This was stated by Regional Chief of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Naseer Ahmed Baiwa Faisalabad, while addressing consumers during his visit to various banks branches in Faisalabad city here on Saturday.

He said that on the special directive of President NBP Mohammadmian Somro efforts are being launched to resolve the difficulties being confronted by the consumers on top priority basis. He said that an awareness programme on utility bills payment and home remittance was already held here in which peoples representatives participated and discussed the problems.

He said that another such programme would be held in Civil Lines Branch of NBP here on April, 13 to evolve a viable strategy for the collection of utility bills. People from all walks of life will participate in this programme and give their suggestions to eliminate the difficulties and problems being faced by them.

The Regional NBP Chief assured that latest technology of ATM would be used to ensure expeditious collection of utility bills. He also directed the bank staff to behave courteously with the consumers and give them due respect as their valuable clients.
