Govt urged to reduce oil prices

LAHORE: Malik Qauyum, Millat Party's secretary information has emphasised upon the government to transfer the benefit of recent decrease in oil rates in international market to masses.

He said it was ironical that whenever there was an increase in the prices of oil in international markets, our economic managers lost no time in increasing the prices locally, but when the situation was reversed, they never pass any ensuing advantage to the nation.

He said it was unfortunate that the present government which claimed of correcting the economic scenario had also failed to transfer the recent decrease in rates of oil from $25.18 to $23.10.
