Dutch envoy

meets Usman

ISLAMABAD: The Ambassador of the Netherlands Jaap A Walkate on Friday called on Usman Aminuddin, Federal Minister for Petroleum and natural Resources and discussed matters relating to mutual interests in oil and gas sector in Pakistan.

Usman apprised the ambassador on oil and gas exploration activities in the country. He informed the ambassador of the high priority attached by the government to encourage and promote foreign investment particularly in the oil and gas sector.

The ambassador was also informed of the policy initiatives taken by the government to stimulate the economy.

The ambassador in response expressed his confidence in the policies and forward looking projects of the country and was hopeful of maximum investment and participation by Dutch companies in the oil and gas sector in Pakistan.ÑAPP
