KARACHI: A certificate award ceremony at the conclusion of 51st Military Leadership and Command Course was held at JCO's Academy, PAF Base Korangi Creek on Friday.

Base Commander PAF Base Masroor Air Commodore Saleem A Nawaz was the chief guest on this occasion, said an ISPR press release here on Friday.

Commandant JCO's Academy Wing Commander Imtiaz Aziz presented the course report. The chief guest gave away distinction certificates to the outstanding trainees and awarded the Sarfraz Rafiqui Shaheed Leadership Trophy to Assistant Warrant Officer Feroz Khan.

Addressing the course participants the chief guest said. "The defence of the country is a matter of paramount importance. The challenges that we face, have to be met boldly. The situation calls for blending the man and machine into a formidable deterrent.

A leader of any rank or cadre is required to be fully aware of the changes and development in the art of military sciences, and above all, he should be determined to implement them. He advised them to work to the best of their abilities and with conviction, and leave the result to God Almighty, who will never let their performance in vain.

Earlier, on his arrival at the base, the chief guest was received by Base Commander PAF Base Korangi Creek Air Commodore Tanweer M Sheikh.ÑAPP
