CLARIFICATION REGARDING LEVY OF SALES TAX ON PHARMACEUTICALS AND MEDICAMENTS.
I am directed to refer to your letter No.
R-JAN-2K2/S4(19), dated 28th March, 2002, on the subject cited above and to say
that the exemption of sales tax has been withdrawn on all pharmaceutical products, drugs
and medicaments including homeopathic, aryuvedic, unani and other traditional medicaments.
