MINISTRY OF PETROLEUM AND NATURAL RESOURCES
NOTIFICATIONS
Islamabad, the 11th July, 2001
S.R.O. 518(I)/2001.-- In exercise
of the powers conferred by clause (4) of section 2 of the Natural Gas (Development
Surcharge) Ordinance, 1967 (I of 1967), Federal Government is pleased to fix the gas sale
price to the cement industry in the following manner:--
(v) increase of 10% with immediate effect;
(vi) increase of 6.5% in September, 2001;
(vii) increase of 4.2% in December, 2001; and
(viii) increase of 10% on 1st July, 2002.
2. The following amendment in notification S.R.O. 173(I)/2001, dated the 17th March, 2001
is according made and shall always deemed to be made:-
In the schedule after the entry "(iii) Industrial consumer" following shall be
inserted;
(iv) Cement Plants
All off-take at flat rate of Rs. 616.39 per hundred cubic meters.
3. This above rates shall be effective from 9th April, 2001 or from the date of
restoration of gas supply whichever is earlier and until further order.

S.R.O. 519(I)/2001.-- In exercise of the powers
conferred by rule 15 and 16 of Natural Gas Rules 1960, the Authority is pleased to fix the
gas sale price to the cement industry in the following manner:-
(ix) increase of 10% with immediate effect;
(x) increase of 6.5% in September, 2001;
(xi) increase of 4.2% in December, 2001; and
(xii) increase of 10% on 1st July, 2002.
2. The following amendment in notification S.R.O. 174(I)/2001, dated the 17th March, 2001
is accordingly made and shall always deemed to be made:-
In the schedule after the entry "(iii) Industrial consumer" following shall be
inserted;
(iv) Cement Plants
Maximum rate;
All off-take at flat rate of Rs. 616.39 per hundred cubic meters.
Minimum Charge Rs. 6,163 per month.
3. This above rates shall be effective from 9th April, 2001 or from the date of
restoration of gas supply whichever is earlier and until further order.
