NOTIFICATIONS
Islamabad, the 12th July, 2001
S.R.O. 520 (I)/2001.—In exercise
of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 23 of the Foreign Exchange
Regulation Act, 1947 (VII of 1947), the Federal Government is pleased to declare the
period ending the 30th June, 2002 to be the period for which all offences
punishable under the said section 23 shall be cognizable and non-bailable.

S.R.O. 521 (I)/2001.— In exercise of the power conferred by
sub-section (1) of section 23B of the Federal Exchange Regulation act, 1947, (VII of
1947), the Federal Government is pleased to authorize Mr. Saeed Hasan Ansari, an officer
of the State Bank of Pakistan to act as Director of Adjudication under the said Act in
relation to the whole of Pakistan, the Northern Areas of Gilgit and Balistan and the
Territories of Azad Jammu and Kashmir with effect from 4th July, 2001 (F.N.).
S.R.O. 550 (I)/2000, dated the 8th August, 2000 is hereby cancelled with effect
from 23rd June, 2001 (A.N.).
