NOTIFICATION
Islamabad, the 30th August, 2000
S.R.O. 618(I)/2000.-- The Federal Government is pleased to direct that the
following amendment shall be made in the WAPDA BONDS (Eights Issue) Regulations, 2000,
namely:--
In the aforesaid Regulations,--
(i) for rule 7, the following shall be substituted, namely:--
7. Individuals, institutions, trusts, employees funds, bodies corporate including banks
and financial institutions and insurance companies can purchase these bonds. The bonds
shall be approved security for Trusts, Provident Funds, Gratuity Funds and Benevolent
Funds in accordance with the Trust Act 1882 (II of 1882), the Income Tax Ordinance 1979
(XXXI of 1979), and Insurance act 1938 (IV of 1938)."
