S.R.O. 606(I)/2000.-- The Federal Government is pleased to amend the WAPDA Bonds (Eighth Issue) Regulation, 2000 dated 17th August, 2000, namely:--

In the aforesaid Notification,--

(1) In Rule 4 (iv) after words "Ceiling" following shall be substituted, namely:--

"Indicative at 16.5% per annum."

(2) In Rule 7 the words "The Bonds shall be approved security for banks for the purpose of section 29, Banking Companies Ordinance, 1962 (LVII of 1962), and for Trusts, Provident Funds, Gratuity Funds and Benevolent Funds in accordance with the Trust Act, 1882 (II of 1882), the Income Tax Ordinance, 1979 (XXXI of 1979) and the Insurance Act, 1938 (IV of 1938)" shall be omitted.
