ORDER
S.R.O.
496 (I)/2002.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of
section 3 of the Imports and Exports (Control) Act, 1950 (XXXIX of 1950), the
Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments
shall be made in the Import Trade and Procedures Order, 2000, namely:-
"In
the aforesaid Order;-
(a) In paragraph 6,-
(i) sub-paragraph (13), shall be omitted; and
(ii) after sub-paragraph (16), the following new sub-paragraph shall be added,
namely:-
"(17) import of goods shall be subject to the same national. Quality standards
or regulations as are prescribed in respect of similar and domestically produced
goods".
(b) in Appendix-A, in Table A-I-
in the first column, after S.No. 32, the following new S. No. 32A and entries
relating thereto in the second and third columns shall be inserted. Namely:-

Appendix-b,-
(i) in Section-I, in column (1),-
(a) after S.No.25, the following new S.No.25A and entries relating thereto in

(b) for S.No.28 and entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), the following shall be substituted, namely:-

(ii) in Section-11, in
column (1), S.Nos.4, 5B and 5C and entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3)
and (4) shall be omitted; and
(iii) in
Section-II, in column (1), after S.No.12, the following new Sr. No. 12A and
entries relating thereto in the second third and fourth columns shall be inserted,
namely:-
