ORDER
Islamabad, the 14th July 2001
S.R.O. 517(I)/2001.-- WHEREAS
it is expedient to take necessary measures to protect the public morality, including
control of illegal trade and smuggling;
NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of provisions of Article X of the Agreement between the
Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Government of Afghanistan for
regulation of traffic in transit and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section
(1) of Section 3 of the Imports and Exports (Control) Act, 1950 (XXXIX of 1950, the
Federal Government is pleased to prohibit the bringing into Pakistan by sea, land and air
in transit to Afghanistan of goods specified in column (2) of the table below:-
