Order
Islamabad, the 22nd December, 2000
S.R.O. 901 (I)/2000.-- In exercise of
the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Imports and Exports (Control)
Act, 1950 (XXXIX of 1950), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following
further amendments shall be made in the Textile Quota Management Policy Order, 2000,
namely:--
In the aforesaid Order:--
(1) in paragraph 7 for the colon, at the end, a fullstop shall be substituted and
thereafter the provisos shall be omitted;
(2) in paragraph 12, after sub-paragraph (6) following new sub-paragraph shall be
inserted, namely:--
"(7) Quotas allocated through auction shall be non-transferable"; and
(3) in paragraph 13, sub-paragraph (3) shall be omitted.
