ORDER
Islamabad, the 4th August, 2000

S.R.O. 539(I)/2000.-- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Imports and Exports (Control) Act, 1950 (XXXIX of 1950), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the Textile Quota Management Policy Order, 2000, namely:--

In the aforesaid Order:

(1) in paragraph 7, in sub-paragraph (1),--

(a) in the third proviso, for the colon, at the end, the full stop shall be substituted; and
(b) the fourth proviso shall be omitted; and

(2) for paragraph 17, the following shall be substituted, namely:--

"17 Surrender of performance quota.-- Quota holders shall be eligible to surrender their performance quota up to the 15th September, 2000, without forfeiture of security deposits. The Textile Associations shall immediately provide details of such surrender of quota to the Export Promotion Bureau for its disposal on such terms and conditions as the Export Promotion Bureau may notify."
