NOTIFICATION
(Central Excise)
S.R.O. 625(I)/2001.-- In exercise of
the powers conferred by section 37 of the Central Excises Act, 1944 (I of 1944), read with
the proviso to sub-rule (1) of rule 12 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central
Board of Revenue, with the prior approval of the Federal Government is pleased to direct
the following further amendment shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 547(I)/96,
dated the 1st July, 1996, namely:-
In the aforesaid Notification, in the preamble, in clause (i), after the word
"route" the words, brackets and figures "except the items and on the
conditions as notified vide Ministry of Commerce’ Notification No. S.R.O.
514(I)/2001, dated 12th July, 2001" shall be added.
