NOTIFICATION
(Central Excise)

S.R.O.345(I)/2000.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Central Excises Act, 1944 (I of 1944), the Central Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the Central Excise Rules, 1944, namely:-

In the aforesaid Rules,

(1) in rule 2, clause (cc) shall be omitted;

(2) in rule 12A, in sub-rule (5A), the word and figure "section 35-A" shall be omitted; and

(3) rule 213 shall be omitted.

2. This notification shall take effect from the 1st day of July, 2000.
