NOTIFICATION

CENTRAL EXCISE
S.R.O. 275 (I)/2000.-- In exercise of the powers
conferred by section 12B of the Central Excises Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Federal
Government is pleased to exempt from the central excise duty payable in excess of Rs.
127.95 per metric ton on asphalt, classifiable under heading No. 2713.2000 of the first
Schedule to the Act, manufactured by M/s. Attock Refinery Limited, Rawalpindi, during the
period commencing form the 22nd June, 1995, and ending on the 12th June, 1996, subject to
the condition that no amount of central excise duty already paid in excess of Rs. 127.95
per metric ton during the aforesaid period shall be refunded.
