S.R.O. 232(I)/2000.-- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Central Excises Act, 1944 (I of 1944), read with proviso to sub-rule (1) of rule 12 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Board of Revenue, with the prior approval of the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in its Notification No. 547(I)/96, dated the 1st July, 1996, namely:--

In the aforesaid Notification, in clause (iii), in sub-clause (a) after the expression "NOT FOR SALE IN PAKISTAN" the words and commas "or such other code as the Central Board of Revenue may, for reasons to be recorded in writing, approve" shall be added.
