SRO__(I)/2000.-- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 12A of the Central Excises Act, 1944 (I of 1944), the Federal Government is pleased to exempt goods imported by units located in the Export Processing Zone from whole of the central excise duties.

Explanation:-- For the purpose of this notification the expression, "Export Processing Zone" means such area as is declared by the Federal Government to be a zone under the Export Processing Zones Authority Ordinance, 1980 (IV of 1980).
