S.R.O.999(I)/99.-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 12A of the Central Excises Act, 1944 (I of 1944), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No.S.R.O.962(I)/99, dated the 26 th August, 1999, namely:-
In the aforesaid Notification, in the Table, in column (2),
(1) against heading number 12.01, in column (3),-
(a) in clause (I), after the word "tonne" the words" o less" shall be inserted; and
(b) in clause (iii), after the word "tonne" the words" or higher" shall be inserted;
(2) against heading number 1205.0000, in column (3),-
(a) in clause (i), after the words "tonne" the words " or less" shall be inserted; and
(b) in clause (iii), after the words "tonne" the words shall be inserted;
(3) against heading number 1206.0000, in column (3),-
(a) in clause (I), after the words "tonne" the words "or higher" shall be inserted;
(b) in clause (iii), after the word "tonne" the words "or higher" shall be inserted;
(4) against heading number 1207.2000, in column (3),
(a) in clause (I), after the word "tonne" the words "or less" shall be inserted; and
(b) in clause (iii), after the word "tonne" the words "or higher" shall be inserted
(5) heading number 1207.5000, in column (3),-
(a) in clause (i), after the word "tonne" the words "or less" shall be inserted; and
(b) in clause (iii), after the word "tonne" the words "or higher" shall be inserted
(6) against heading number 1207.6000, in column (3),-
(a) in clause (i), after the word "tonne" the words "or less" shall be inserted; and
(b) in clause (iii), after the word "tonne" the words "or higher" shall be inserted
(7) against heading number 1207.9900, in column (3),-
(c) in clause (i), after the word "tonne" the words "or less" shall be inserted; and
(d) in clause (iii), after the word "tonne" the words "or higher" shall be inserted
2. This notification shall take effect from the 26th of August, 1999.
