NOTIFICATION
(CENTRAL EXCISE)
S.R.O. 808(I)/99.-- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section
12A of the Central excises Act, 1944 (I of 1944), the Federal Government is pleased to
direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No.
S.R.O.456(I)/96, dated the 13th June, 1996, namely:--
In the aforesaid Notification, in the Table, in column (1),--
(1) after heading number 4907.0030 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and
(3), the following new heading numbers and the entries relating thereto shall be inserted,
namely:--
| "5202.1000 | Yarn waste (Including thread waste) | Twenty-five paisa per kg |
| 5202.9100 | Garnetteda stock | Twenty-five paisa per kg |
| 5205.0000 | Cotton yarn (other than sewing thread), containing 855 or more by weight of cotton, not put up for retail sale. | Twenty-five paisa per kg |
| 5206.0000 | Cotton yarn (other than sewing thread), put up for retail sale. | Twenty-five paisa per kg."; and |
(2) after heading number 5406.0000 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3) the following new heading numbers and the entries relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:-
| "5509.0000 | Yarn (other than sewing thread) of synthetic staple fibres, not put up for retail sale. | Twenty-five paisa per kg |
| 5510.0000 | Yarn (other than sewing thread) of artificial staple fibres, not put up for Retail sale. | Twenty-five paisa per kg. |
| 5511.0000 | Yarn (other than sewing thread) of man-made staple fibres, not put up for retail sale | Twenty-five paisa per kg. |
