Please refer to para 2 of NBFIs Circular No. 10 dated the 27^th July, 1995.

It is clarified that for the purpose of maintaining liquidity under Rule 6 of NBFIs Rules, shares should be valued at cost or market value whichever is lower and reported accordingly in Statement No. 2.
