DECLARATION OF CHINESE CURRENCY ‘RMB’ (YUAN) AS APPROVED FOREIGN EXCHANGE FOR
THE PURPOSE
OF THE STATE BANK OF PAKISTAN ACT, 1956.
All Authorized Dealers
are advised that Government of Pakistan has declared Chinese Currency “RMB”
(Yuan) as approved foreign exchange for all purposes of State Bank of Pakistan
Act, 1956 with immediate effect.
2. In this context, a copy of Government of Pakistan’s Gazette Notification No.
S.R.O. 250(1)/2003 dated the 6th March, 2003 is enclosed for information.

S.R.O. 250 (I)/2003.--
As per procedure laid down in section 19 of the State Bank of Pakistan Act,
1956, the Federal Government is pleased to declare Chinese currency “RMB” (YUAN)
as approved foreign exchange for all the purposes of State Bank of Pakistan Act,
1956 with immediate effect.
