No. F. 40(I)/76-AI.- In exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (1) of section 31 of the Drugs Act, 1976 (XXXI of 1976), and in
supersession of this Ministry’s Notification No. F. 40(1)/76-AI,
dated the 1st April, 1976, the Federal Government is pleased to establish, or the
Provinces of Baluchistan and Sindh, a Drug Court consisting of:-
1. Mr. Ali Nawaz Budhani, Chairman of the Insurance Appellate Tribunal, who shall be the
Chairman of the Drug Court;
2. Professor Fazal Elahi, Professor of Surgery, Dow Medical College, Karachi; and
3. Professor Abdul Hameed, Professor of Pharmacology, Dow Medical College, Karachi;
and to direct that the said Drug Court shall sit at Karachi.
