S.R.O. 880(I)/99.--In exercise of powers conferred by section 36
of the Drug Act, 1976 (XXXI of 1976), the Federal Government, being of the opinion that
the public interest so requires, is pleased to exempt the following drugs from operation
of the provisions of section 7 of said Act for six months.
"A" Class of Drugs
1. Antidotes.
2. Diagnostics Agents.
3.Anti Neoplastics.
4. Radio Isotopes.
5. Blood Protein Fractions.
6. Fibrinolytic Inhibitors.
7. Coagulants and Anticoagulents
"B" Other Drugs
1. Tubocurarine Injection.
2. Normal Human Plasma.
3. Sodium Stibogluconate.
4. Plaster of Paris Bandages.
5. Yellow fever Vaccine.
6. Poliomyelitis Vaccine.
